Richard Bergmann won seven world championship titles including four men's singles. Born in Austria in 1919 he won his first world men's singles title in 1937 when he was seventeen! Known for his tenacious defensive play, Richard Bergmann was nicknamed "Lionheart." This extremely rare Slazenger Paddle is in great shape despite its age. Box is missing a flap (please see pictures), but what makes this find the more interesting is that the box survived all these years. A great addition to any serious table tennis collection.
